Vita-Mix Super 5200

Dice onion, add to large pot with soup bones, cover with water...a few inches over the meat...bring to a boil then turn to low, cover and simmer for a couple of hours. Remove meat and bones from the pot. Add blended tomatoes or can of tomatoes to broth....move 1 cup for yourself to smaller pot. (For your own soup dice one carrot, one stalk of celery and 2.3 oz of beans, bring broth to a boil....you will need to add water....1-2 more cups, add to boiling water with 2 oz dry barley...it will make 4 oz cooked....turn heat down to med/low, add Braggs, garlic salt and pepper to taste). For the family pot, add the rest of the carrots, celery, green beans and barley, to the boiling broth....you may have to add more water to this soup too...turn heat to med/low and add spices. While this is simmering, cut the meat into bite sized pieces....give the bones to your dog : ). Measure 2-4 oz of beef for yourself, add to pot and the rest to the family pot....when vegetables are tender, serve.
