This is the base for the Tahini Dressing.....If you are a peanut butter addict like I am, this will give you the taste and bulk without the mega calories from peanut butter alone.
This recipe is sugar-free flour-free. It contains no sugar no flour and low carbohydrates.
1 - 1 1/2 shredded cabbage
3/4 - 1 C mung beans sprouts
3/4 - 1 C broccoli slaw or shredded carrots
10-15 snow pea pods, cut into bite size pieces
2 Tbs or 1/3 of Tahini Dressing, (see recipe)
1 - 2 oz raisins
1/2 oz soy nuts, (or other nut)
Sugar free Wasabi (optional)
Add cabbage, broccoli slaw or carrots and mung bean sprouts to a large bowl. Massage 2 Tbs or 1/3 of Tahini dressing into the mixture with your hand to get it well mixed. Add the snow peas, raisins and soy nuts. Toss, eat. If you want to add a kick, blob on some Wasabi....it takes it to a whole new level.
More vegetables, raw or cooked....and for desert, a smoothie or pudding, vegan or dairy. I have this lunch a few times a week : )
