This recipe is sugar-free flour-free. It contains no sugar no flour and low carbohydrates.
1 cup yellow lentils
8oz vegatable juice
1 tsp butter
bay leaf, salt and pepper
Saute onions and garlic in the butter until slightly brown, add bay leaf, add all veg apart from juice and continue to fry, then add lentils, with 2 or 3 tablespoons of the water they were cooked in and the vegetable juice and simmer for 20 minutes. When all softened, blend until a thick soup consistency. Tastes great the next day.
